Ballroom blitz on the way for Strictly star Craig and four P&O cruises

/, Cruise News/Ballroom blitz on the way for Strictly star Craig and four P&O cruises

Strictly fans have a treat in store this year, with FOUR cruises lined up on P&O ships. The dancing-themed voyages will have more stars and more sparkle than ever before.
Acid-tongued judge Craig Revel Horwood will be a constant presence; he will be joined by two pairs of professional dancers on each cruise, together with guest appearances by celebrity contestants from the hit TV show.
Passengers will be able to learn to rumba with Robin Windsor, waltz with Ian Waite, or do the cha cha with Camilla Dallerup.
Dance classes will be available throughout each cruise and there will be a grand finale dance contest for passengers, judged by Craig and the celebrity guests – whose identities have not yet been disclosed
The Strictly Come Dancing stars will give interviews on board and there will be autograph signing sessions as well as displays of costumes, and Strictly-themed fashion shows.
The line-up of cruises, all departing from and returning to Southampton, is:
April 20: 14-night cruise to the Canary islands on Oriana, calling at Lisbon, Madeira, La Palma, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Cadiz and La Coruna. Stars on board are Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanoff, Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe. Fares from £1,149.
May 31: 14-night Western Mediterranean cruise on Oceana to La Coruna, Gibraltar, Alghero, Florence, St Tropez, Barcelona and Cartagena. Featuring Aljaž Skorjanec and Janette Manrara, Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanoff. Fares from £1,319.
August 2: 12-night Western Med cruise on Azura to Lisbon, Gibraltar, Barcelona, Ibiza, Cartagena and Seville. Dancers are Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas, Ian Waite and Camilla Dallerup. Fares from £1,349.
September 25: 13-night Canary Islands cruise on Aurora calling at Lisbon, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Madeira and El Ferrol. Performers are Ian Waite and Camilla Dallerup, Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova. Fares from £1,199.
It will all be absolutely marvellous, darlings, and with this all-star line-up for 2014, I can’t wait to see what’s around the corner for next year and mega-ship Britannia.
