Another storm in a teacup

When Celebrity Cruises decided to base their newest ship, Eclipse, in the UK for the summer, they added a few tweaks to the menu to appeal to British passengers, and took the bold step (for an American cruise company) of providing kettles in the cabins.
Readers with long memories may recall that when I was on board for the naming ceremony in April, I was disappointed to discover that, although teabags and milk cartons were provided, there was no coffee available.
Acting UK managing director Jo Rzymowska told me that coffee was available from room service – although as it comes freshly-brewed from Cafe al Bacio, there’s an extra charge.
It has not taken long for enterprising passengers to make their own arrangements, pocketing sachets of instant coffee from the Ocean View cafe and squirrelling them away in their rooms.
Some, disappointed at the variety of tea available in the cabin, have also chosen to collect the Tetleys teabags from the cafe; others are grabbing hot chocolate and herbal teas.
How long before Celebrity realise and start providing all these from the start?
