Fancy yourself as a budding TV presenter? Royal Caribbean is looking for a family of would-be reporters to cover the launch of their newest ship, Allure of the Seas, on a preview cruise in November.
The winning family will be flown to Florida and during a four-day voyage from Fort Lauderdale will be given a behind-the-scenes look at the ship’s exclusive DreamWorks Experience featuring the How To Train Your Dragon ice show and the Madagascar aqua show, plus character breakfasts, parades and sail-away parties. They will also be given backstage access to Chicago: The Musical.
The Reporters at Sea competition is open to families of up to six people – but they will have to move quickly. You have until October 10 to complete and upload a video of up to 45 seconds showcasing your on-screen talents.
Videos will be judged on the entrants’ ability to entertain, as well as an ability to explain all the exciting innovations on Allure of the Seas.
Royal Caribbean International will announce which three videos have made the shortlist on October 15. These three shortlisted videos will be posted in an online gallery until October 29 to allow the public to vote for the winner.
Similar competitions are also running in the United States, Canada, Germany, South Korea, Italy, and Venezuela, and winning famillies from each will be announced simultaneously on November 15. The individual who enters the contest on behalf of his or her family must be 18 or over.
Details of how to enter and vote how to enter and vote are at www.allureoftheseas.com.
