Silversea come clean for Kenny

//Silversea come clean for Kenny

marinakennydalglish.jpgA final word for now on Kenny Dalglish. While Silversea must have been sorry to see him and his wife Marina have to leave their Arabian Gulf cruise early to fly back to the UK, they must be delighted with the publicity the events generated.
There can hardly be a newspaper or a football commentator in the land who has not found a way to contrast Dalglish’s luxurious time on board Silver Wind with the rude awakening he and his Liverpool team received at Old Trafford yesterday afternoon, giving away a penalty in the first minute and having captain Steven Gerrard sent off half an hour later.
I mentioned earlier that such was the rush to catch a flight home from Bahrain that Kenny left some dirty washing behind in the Silver Wind’s laundry. I was delighted to learn that Marina has this morning sent this message to her Twitter followers:
“Thank you Silversea, Kenny’s laundry is now on its way home.”
With the problems facing his team, who play Premiership newcomers Blackpool this week, and will face deadly rivals Everton on Sunday, Kenny probably needs all the clean underwear he can find.
Mrs Dalglish, by the way, sounds like she would be entertaining company on a cruise – or anywhere else for that matter. Another of her Tweets this morning announced: “Just a thought. Woke up with Liverpool manager lying beside me! Twenty years since that happened!”
