Expect to get Magicated

//Expect to get Magicated

I am looking forward to a preview of Carnival Magic tomorrow, when I fly to the shipyard in Italy for a quick tour of the new ship in the company of Carnival CEO and President Gerry Cahill and cruise director and ambassador John Heald.
It will be a very speedy look round – after lunch on board we have just 90 minutes in the schedule to see all the ship’s new features, such as the Red Frog pub, the Cucina del Capitano Italian restaurant and what looks like a challenging adventure rope walk.
As the video shows, Carnival Magic is all about fun – the bar is run by a real frog, there are 30,000 million miles of waterslides and a sexy British cruise director. Adults can enjoy shore excursions to the Moon and there will be unicorn rides for the kids. Or maybe that’s just magic.
Carnival Magic will carry nearly 4,000 passengers and is a sister to Carnival Dream which launched in 2009. It will be named in Venice on May 1 and sails in the Mediterranean until October when it heads for its new home in Galveston, Texas.
The small print: *Frog only on sailings with a Kansas port of call. Waterslide measurements are an estimate and not to scale. Unicorn rides subject to availability. Guests must provide own spacecraft for shore excursions to the moon. No unicorns, frogs, or sexy British cruise directors were harmed during the making of this trailer.
