Cruise ships will be the co-stars of two up-coming comedy films. The trailer for Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked was premiered in America this weekend, showing the animated star’s version of Leonardo di Caprio’s “I’m the King of the World” moment from Titanic.
Scenes were shot – with human co-star Jason Lee (of TV’s My Name is Earl) – during a Caribbean cruise on board Carnival Dream.
Also building up to release is Jack and Jill (below), starring Adam Sandler as twin brother and sister, parts of which were filmed on board Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas last November.
Chipwrecked opens in cinemas on December 16. Jack and Jill premieres in the United States in November but UK audiences will have to wait until next February.
