Strictly steps out on Oriana

strictly.jpgAcid-tongued Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood will be taking to the sea this summer as the hit BBC show goes cruising.
He will join dancers Natalie Lowe, Ian Waite, Katya Virshilas and Pasha Kovalev (above) on board P&O’s Oriana sailing to the Canary Islands in May, and returns to the ship in July with another line-up of dancers, including Kristina Rihanoff and Robin Windsor, for a voyage to the Norwegian fjords.
As well as watching the programme’s professionals show off their award-winning routines, passengers will also be able to see a collection of the exquisitely intricate costumes worn by the celebrities and stars in the 2011 series. Such a shame they won’t be able to see Revel Horwood crossing swords with fellow judge Len Goodman, who is not taking part.
Prices for Oriana’s 12-night Canary Islands cruise departing May 28 start at £1,459 per person. Departing from and returning to Southampton, ports of call are Ponta Delgada, Horta, Madeira, Gran Canaria, Lisbon and Vigo.
Faresfor Oriana’s 14-night Fjords cruise departing July 14 start at £1,599 per person. Departing from and returning to Southampton, ports of call are Stavanger, Alesund, Trondheim, cruise in Trondheimsfjord, Ny Alesund, Tromso, Bergen, Eidfjord and cruise in Hardangerfjord.
