Take a look inside Carnival Breeze

//Take a look inside Carnival Breeze

If shipbuilders Fincantieri have put as much care and creativity into the building of Carnival Breeze as they did when making this video – and I’m sure they have – then I’ll be in for a treat when I spend a week on board the ship from June 15.
I’m looking forward to hooking up with senior cruise director, blogger extraordinaire and Carnival brand ambassador John Heald, although given his attitude to the French it might be best to steer clear of him when we arrive in Marseille on Day 2 of the voyage.
Here’s John showing off more of the ship in a walk-through of some of the bars and restaurants together with Mark Tamis, senior voce-president of guest operations. From the Bonsai Sushi bar, through the Red Frog pub to Jimmy’s C-Side BBQ and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse – I’m amazed they didn’t stop off for a bite to eat.

It will be fun to spend time with some of my American colleagues who have been invited to Europe to be among the first to see the ship – although Carnival have carefully kept us away from the ship’s maiden voyage leaving Venice today.
One thing worries me. Before I fly to Barcelona to join Carnival Breeze, I’m spending a few days on Celebrity Silhouette where I have been promised a personal trainer in the gym and a selection of fresh, healthy food in Blu restaurant.
Yes, I’m making a determined (and much-needed) effort to lose a few pounds. The last thing I need after that – although I’ll be sorely tempted – is to be spending a week eating my own bodyweight in burgers. We’ll see.
By the way, John. That noise at the end of each of the three videos above. Not you, is it?
